Hazards of Amazon-Olini Appropriation-Olina

Sharp Objects - Glass.Neighbours - All over the place, but not at the same time.Floors - ONLY the upper floor of the collapsing barn at 228 Old Mill Road.Animals & Insects - Cobwebs in some spots in some of the 3 houses, and animals were for sure scurrying around on the upper floor of the barn before I STOOPIDLY made my way up there.Gated - YES. 128 & 135 Old Mill Road have been totally fenced and have padlocks. THIS is what made me wonder....Cameras - Broccolini has security camera post(s) on thier construction site.EXTRA HAZARD IS THE SECURITY THAT SITS IN THIER CAR NEAR THE MAIN SITE ENTRANCE OFF OF OLD MILL ROAD, CLOSER TO 228 OLD MILL RD.

History of Amazon-Olini Appropriation-Olina

The first 2 houses look to be some 70s era build. The last one however, looks to be 30s or 40s and doesnt seem highly modified. I was not able to locate history tied to any of these properties, not even the build date.

The Situation

(PIN DROPPED AT OR AROUND 140 OLD MILL ROAD, THE ADDRESS OF THE DEVELOPMENT)

MZO gets issued to build one of, if not, THE largest warehouse in Southern Ontario. Mystery Company at first and Im still not sure if there is 100% confirmation of the client of the Developer, Broccolini. It is heavily speculated and or confirmed that the client is amazon. WITHOUT getting into my personal opinion, here is list of City Of Cambridge blunders our FINE MAYOR Kathrynn Mcgarry will have to answer for, but like all else, fail to truly be accountable for, or straight up deny….

\

  1. Why did the City lie about the issuing of the MZO before it was FULLY issued?
  2. Even with an MZO, there needs to be ‘’meaningful public consultation'' with the general public and because this is a development on the Haldimand Tract, 1784, (within 6 miles of the Grand River)….Why has there been no proof of either Indigenous consultation or input, or ‘’meaningful public consultation'' proof provided to Steve Clark, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, who had demanded it or threatened to rescind the MZO?
  3. When there have been many protests in the City of Cambridge that I myself have attended, why and how was this not noticed by OUR FINE MAYOR?
  4. Knowing that the group known as “Blair Engaged” has lawyer'd up, and has/is taking action (to protect the area known as “Blair Village”, a Heritage Conservation District within the City of Cambridge) why has there not been a ‘’Stop Work Order" issued to Broccolini by the Mayor?
  5. Why did the City Council fully endorse this project in April, leading to the groundbreaking that has now rendered the former field and forest there a barren dirt lot and unrecognizable? This question ties into #3 as well. Council cant have missed the news as well.

There are more I am sure, but there has been some shady dealings in this shitshow of a City within the last 1.5 years and I can for sure say that if OUR FINE MAYOR is re-elected and because “Social Distancing” is still a thing, I will have to make a sign SO VULGAR that the live news will have to omit or censor it as they broadcast the protest I will spearhead, as I block OUR FINE MAYOR in City Hall and enforce their own by-laws. These 3 houses have been appropriated by Broccolini via the MZO that is currently as of date of upload, threatened to be rescinded due to lack of sufficient proof from the Mayor of “meaningful consultations” with both groups involved. A friend told me it happened with the Preston Springs Hotel, and it seems as if it is happening here (note the City of Cambridge has had a hand, and a major one in both of these events and series of choices)…..

  1. ==128 Old Mill Road== - 70s lookin build. Nice but not any value really.
  2. ==134 Old Mill Road== - Another 70s lookin build. Maybe 60s even. Again nice, but not any historic value.
  3. ==228 Old Mill Road== - This one is older FOR SURE. It looks like late 30s - 40s. It does not look highly modified, even most places on the interior do not. It is pretty nice, but it had a few twists leading upto, and into the explore. As I was not sure how I would get to It at first….And it was a long walk….

(Individual house descriptions will be in the albums, so read them if you want to know about the places themselves and I am still currently editing. Rare I up a place before it is fully edited, but I was a bit excited….Watched for almost a year waiting for this, but hoping they woulnd’t be vacated for the sake of the development not going thru…)
