Demolished House in Woolwich, Ontario, Canada

The house in question looks like a reno was started and then walked away from. The property is overgrown, the pool is stagnant and the house reminded me of some sort of bunker. Concrete stairs and walls and fixtures can be found everywhere. No POE but with some tagging on the walls, and some minor vandalism, I would think an opening is in the cards. Very strange layout to the house, with no apparent front door, other than the garage.

I spotted this place when I used the driveway for a turnaround. I was headed across the road to Wesley's for lunch. I highly recommend this small takeout food shack. I work with the owner's father and have heard the story of the hard work and determination that has been put into the delicious menu and of making the restaurant a success. Everything is homemade to the highest standards, so if you are in the area to check out a random abandoned house with an in-ground pool, why not stop in for a quick bite. Bon appetit, enjoy.

A buddy of mine drove past this place and said it was demolished.

Thanks for commenting man. I was told this a few months ago by a contact of mine and forgot to update it!

Last time I was able to make it out here was the winter and it was closed. Really cool setup with the slide and pool in the back/side. Nice piece of land.

I've never been completely convinced that this property is abandoned. I took a drive up and explored the gardens. I almost literally ran into a big deer buck near the pool. The blinds on the sliding door were open and there was a computer chair and a telescope set up. It really is a cool find and a very cool pool and garden.
