Constructed in the late 1800's, Somerset house is one of the many iconic buildings remaining on bank street in the downtown area. For years this building housed a hotel as well as having a restaurant on ground level. While this location has been abandoned for some time, it was intended that it be re-purposed and modernized for some time before partially collapsing in 2007. At this point new plans are underway to rebuild the site however no work has been done here for some time. Access can be had a parking lot in the back but as far as I know the remaining structure is heavily boarded up and inaccessible without breaking in. Discretion will be difficult as the center town pub patio faces the access point.
