This property is designated by Vaughan Historical Society, however they really have nothing to say about it other than it was built in 1860, that is is of Georgian design and the family name was Bassingthwaite House. I can not find anything relevant on the internet for the family name. It was a large farm, google shows the barns that are now history. 3 porches, I am envious. I could find no POE. There are construction dudes there regularly. Apparently this house is to be preserved.
