This community exists just east of Markham on Hwy 7. This was once located in Markham Township but is now just the Municipality of Markham. You can see the old hotel and where the train station once sat. The train station can be seen in the 1974 film "Vengeance is Mine" aka "Sunday in the Country"..Also, the hotel can be seen for a split second in the 1970(a)s comedy "Silver Streak" starring Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor. This hamlet still has a post office in a local home.
