Marian Cemetery

This beautifully overgrown and neglected cemetery, sits less than a kilometre east of Morriston, known locally as the Marian Cemetery, and formerly as the Old Catholic Cemetery. I found only three headstones in the fenced in area, two lying on the ground, slowly being reclaimed by the earth. The one obvious stone stands amongst the towering trees, the last reminder of the Bowman family buried here. At best estimate, there are no more than seven souls resting here, see the provided link for more details, and all of the burials are from the 1800's. The forest floor here is rich in growth, which provides a mysterious feeling to the past.
