I found this abandoned house while travelling from one abandoned place to the next. Something about the property suggested to me that I turn around to check it out. Entry was easy and the house did not disappoint.
The amount of hardwood inside was beautiful, they don't make houses like this any more.
It looks to have been an office of some sort with a kitchen upstairs (and microwave). One room still had a bed and dresser full of clothing. Another room contained assorted household items including a pressure washer and stereo equipment.
The property is to be demolished to make way for a community centre.

Yeesh... Pictures of family always make me wonder just what kind of place I am trespassing in.
I'm afraid I don't get to that area too often. If I do make it back I'll want to make the exploration of the barn a priority. I did look through the drawers, the big dresser was empty with some clothes strewn on the floor in front. The smaller dresser had, children's books, a big dog collar, some bedding & other odds and ends.
It is a great find. You'll have to go back during the day and see what else you can find...and open the drawers!
You sure this place is abandoned? They left so much behind! Did you happen to look in the drawers? Wow! Great find!
Wow... look at the floor in photo #4! Abandoned but clearly this place was well cared for.
