Biltmore Hats is a staple in the City of Guelph. Opened in the 1950s and just recently closed to move production to Dallas, Texas. Sad to see it go, soon will be demolished for a housing complex.

by shear chance went to this site and vmax was there at the same time. we explored....it's mine kind of explore, but it's being demo'd

Thanks! It has been very hard not to share them. The place was incredible. The steam presses for hats, sewing hats by hand...it was like stepping back in time. I got very lucky that day. The president of the company (the man pictures in image three actually) was quite the 'cool cat' type. I now hope he is open to releasing me from the agreement...

This place was AMAZING inside and I was sad to hear it was moving! I had the opportunity to tour and photograph it last summer while it was still in operation. I signed an agreement at that time not to release the images due to them not wanting trade secrets released. I am currently working to have this lifted. If I do, I will post!
