History of Overgrown Bungalow

This is essentially just your average suburban Toronto Bungalow. It was built in the '60s, coinciding with the rise of suburban development surrounding Old Toronto. An application to transform the home into office space was submitted in 2001 but was rejected after neighbours objected. The home and adjacent bungalows were vacated in 2021, with the 3 other houses being demolished soon after. A sign sits out front advertising a condo development, but it seems to have stalled. There's no evidence of it after a brief web search and the website listed on the poster no longer exists.

For how much of an attempt was made at boarding it up, entry was fairly easy. The side door was wide open. Once inside, I found it to be, disappointingly, completely stripped to the framing. The basement is slightly flooded, but it is nowhere near unmanageable.
