Demo’d

March 2024, it was alerted across the neighbourhood that the long lived KFC was going to be speed demolished in regards to the Ontario line. Metrolinx has yet to clarify what they are going to build here but I'm sure this will stay an active site for the next few years. They are also demolishing the semi detatched house right beside the KFC, surronded by the fencing. Though, on the site the side door was wide open to one of the sides of the house, which made it pretty easy to get inside. We didn't try the other side through the front door, more because it was day and theres an immense amount of foot traffic.There's no other POE to get to the other side of the semi detached.

The only hazards to really keep in mind are the foot traffic and because it's an active construction site.

Not really anything else I can add in regards to the history of this place, never really came here anyways and from research I've done people have said the same, some thinking the demolition was because their business wasn't doing well. Hopefully this project doesn't take as long and doesn't delay as much as the lrt.
