Hazards of Lonely On Charles

  • There is a broken window on the back (though it is boarded) so there is bound to be glass shards out back or inside the house
  • Neighbours. It's in the middle of a somewhat busy street. There is no fencing or gating, absolutely nothing to keep out of sight when walking around the property.

History of Lonely On Charles

This building has sat here for a long time. It has always looked a little junky, but has survived the longest out of the neighbouring buildings, besides the Auto Parts shop to it's left.

Whoever used to live in this house didn't really keep up with appearances. It's always looked slightly overgrown, with a dirty yard for the most part. Buildings to both the left and right have been demolished over the span of about a decade. Even back in 2009 I feel like this house just seems 'out of place', as it had no real non-commercial 'neighbour'. To it's left is an Auto Parts shop, and to it's right is a parking lot and small restaurant. Depending on when this house was built, it may have had more real 'neighbours' way back when, but I need to be able to find evidence of that first, which I don't currently have at the time.

A lot of stuff but not really much glass. Basement is accessible, but door at the top of the stairs up to the main floor is boarded. Wasn't hard unleashing the inner trash panda, but I think I pulled a muscle in my right leg.
