Hazards of One-Way Ticket To Back Pain

  • To get there you will need to either hop across rocks to cross the creek, or walk along the side of the highway which does have some branches, plants and greenery (atleast through the spring & summer). Not totally dangerous but can be a nuisance
  • The pipe itself doesn't have the greatest air quality but should not be a threat or concern in any way
  • The biggest hazard here is the fact the pipe is not very large in diameter, probably like 4ft in diameter or something, so I hope you enjoy bending down

This pipe (and surrounding area) is a popular spot for high school kids that go to the school across the street from it (Eastwood Collegiate Institute). There is lots of graffiti alongside the highway, some graffiti inside the pipe, and various other bridge(s) tunnels around that also have lots of graffiti. The pipe itself is quite small and tight but is traversable without needing to crawl. I believe there is more rooms that one could stand up in besides what I call the 'back' but the 2 paths that branch off are even smaller than the main 110ft or so pipe that you will go through to get to the back. If you want to go past that, be my guest, I'm not. The creek this empties out into is technically Schneider Creek. The pipe itself is not 100% straight, it curves to both the left and right a little bit but you can still see the light at the entrance by the time you make it to the 'back' room.
