In 2021, 140 The Queensway was sold as "future development land. The property is presently vacant.140 The Queensway has significant historical value through being the last surviving Davidson House.

The Davidson Houses were 40 houses that were constructed in the 1880s in the United States and transported on barges across Lake Ontario to Etobicoke. The Davidson Houses were (likely) Canada's first pre-fabricated homes and Canada's first pre-fabricated community. The property also contains 140A The Queensway,

Nice to see this posted and get some recognition. With modular builds and prefab homes getting a lot of attention lately, it's too bad this trailblazer model doesn't get the chance to be enshrined like it deserves. Obviously seen some better days, but oh well.

what you think counts and what everyone else thinks counts are two different things. proper interiors are you yourself getting into the building to take photos
