The church is maintained be someone often, though I couldn’t find any information on who. Please respect the building because someone obviously has put a lot of work into maintaining the church and it would be sad for it to be vandalized, which I haven’t seen evidence of fortunately.
The church was built in 1901 in a former community called Harrisville, it supposedly being the first Roman Catholic church in Southern Alberta. The church fell down due to strong gusts of wind and was rebuilt in 1907 approximately 11 km North from the USA-Canada border.
There is a cemetery in the back with a stone celebrating the church being one of the oldest in Southern Alberta.
