Cliffside Vineyard

While hiking between Corniglia and Volastra, I spotted a handful of ruined buildings. I had about 100ft of elevation to decende to get down to them, which was through rudimetery rock staircases carved out of the terraformed vineyards. One of the buildings had been recently re-done compared to the other two. It housed a small table, a bar, and even some bottles of wine nestled away in the back. When I diverted from the main path, I left the other tourists behind, do for about an hour of walking into Volastra it was truely just me, walking alone along the coast. It was unforgettably rewarding.
