History of Outside the Bun

This was a Taco Bell that shut down April 28, 2012. The interior was around the 90s styling of pinks, purples, teals, etc. One of the last standalone style taco bell's in the area before the they started merging with KFC restaurants around here. It had been sitting locked up, but generally with little vandalism in the 10 years it was abandoned.

Pictures i took were from 2018, as around 2019 or 2020 they had boarded the place up, fenced it off, and is now completely demolished. This place has a special spot in my heart simply because I've always loved taco bell. As a kid, i remember going to this exact location on very rare “treats” for dinner. Looking at it in 2018, it hadn't changed at all, completely frozen in time from when i had been there last. These had such an iconic aesthetic interior, and it took me back getting to see it once more.
