Hazards of The World Of Camping

Neighbours - LOTS of activity at the auto shop or whatever is on the left (looking from the sidewalk). And I MEAN lots. Animals & Insects - Self- explanatory.

History of The World Of Camping

Opened in 1989, is the former Campers World store. They sold RV's and trailers. Possibly Motorhomes as well. They had a sales and a service area and were a popular spot while they were around.

First COVID, and the closing down of buisnesses, then the rollercoaster that were the "waves".....When I shot a nearby location I had noticed the "Retirement/Closing Sale" sign out front.

A bit of time passes and I forgot about it, to be reminded of it again by another member.

1989-2021. Thats about all there is to it. The back lot and side lot are M-T. There is a live animal trap in the back. /seacell brought this one back up to me, and I went and found my way inside, and then whenever /seacell went to check it out (usually AM it seemed like) there was some kind of activity. I had noticed the trap, and the random bits of animal food around the building….But it sounds as if a person were trying to CATCH an animal by trying to lure it….NO IDEA MAN.

So the inside consists of essentially 2 areas. The customer area (front) and the service shop (rear). Service shop has MASSIVE doors for obvious reasons. Very open concept. There is space above the front (accessible from the rear) to store parts and Im sure there would have been parts up there. The most interesting thing for me was to shoot the rear. It is an interesting shape and the offices at the front have all been made square. It is neat, the semi-circular shaped service shop. Now PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Future unknown. I wager demolition.

Soon enough this metal shell, wont fit in with the buildings that go around it.
