Hazards of Credential INsecuritues

This is an ACTIVE DEMOLITION SITE. Just about EVERY hazard applies as it is in the city interior. UGH. NOW DEMOLISHED.

History of Credential INsecuritues

The main floor of the original building was gutted and the addition was put on facing King St and Kuntz Ln (and wraps around almost 3 sides.) Ive got to do a bit of research while this uploads.....Not quite sure what the original building was. Perhaps it always WAS apartments. Seems not much converted.

The addition is the reason this building is being salvaged instead of designated, as the façade is destroyed. But this is Kitchener, lest we forget...

Last year, I hit the house next door to this (about to bump down to basic LV) and when I was having a smoke and a smoke prior to the infiltration of Loc#16163 and I picked out how the apartments appeared vacant and the offices (that are a SEPERATE UNIT) looked like some kind of storage. But still I saw people inside and stayed away from the bank.

Then I havent been to Waterloo in a hot minute, and I got a heads up from /TheeasyKaybreezy that it was fenced. SWEET! So I went. It was a weekday and the workers were not INSIDE or ON SITE, however they were maybe examining the exterior, or finishing up. Melloul-Blamey had a work truck parked across the road, and there was also a engineer of some kind who stayed longer (in the truck, messaging across from where I smoked and smoked, expressing interest in other structures that surround that small park area. The POE ON BOTH the small offices that I assume the Credit Union used (possibly investment offices??), and the bank ACTUAL, both SUCK HARDCORE. There may have been more hesitation then infiltration once I was past the fence. The bank ACTUAL being the worst, walking to the door and floating thru in the day….Dont do what I do. Because I look back and wonder HOW I GOT AWAY WITH IT.

The bank, was fairly simple. At least it had the desks still. But it was the vault I was after. And the vault was still there, but in hindsight, I should have shot the security boxes inside. I was not comfortable in the bank. The offices were a separate unit with the entrance facing King St. Whereas the Credit Union faced Kuntz Ln. Much to my surprise, the apartments were connected to the Credit Union, with their own entrance at one point, facing George St.

I commented on Loc#16163 about a year ago: “The building next to this, its partly attached to the Credit Union but has the yellow sign saying a zoning application has been made. The side is overgrown, but it looks like its partially still Credit Union space and the rest of the residential on the upper floors is vacant EDIT: APPEARS VACANT. LOL . Im not even sure that there would be a way up there save for trying to infiltrate it from the interior, and being a bank, its probably hard if not impossible.”

Now with this being a imminent demolition, copied comment here, and deleted from Loc#16163 as to try to draw LESS attention to it, but it does a good job on its own. All in all, this was GREAT. It was a thrill, a puzzle and a treat to see the place before its been gutted. They just dont make them like they used to. You know it. I know it, and the world mostly doesnt care. The name of this location is curtesy of Google Maps, as it is labeled as “Credential Securities”. Love when good names come naturally.

UPDATE: DEMOLISHED ABOUT A WEEK AFTER I HIT IT, IF NOT A FEW DAYS….

TOTALLY GONE. Only a sign that I think once held the Credit Union Sign inside, remains.
