Hazards of King Street Drain

Sharp Objects - Starting near Stonegate Dr and walking under the road and up the creek....The creek has been lined with chainlink fence. It is rotting. The CMP is rotted as well on some edges, creating sharp edges too. Other metal and possible glass, used sharps or ANYTHING ELSE INSIDE. BE AWARE. Flooding - "When It Rains, NO DRAINS!". These pipes drain entire neighborhoods, and i(shootthings) have heard stories about being caught in the rain. I dont want it to happen to me, or anyone else. Air Quality - Some areas have a VERY strong moldy must to it. Animals & Insects - Drains are THE Trash Panda highways. And spiders GALORE. They thrive.

History of King Street Drain

Seems the CMP is older infrastructure and was MAYHAPS mashed together with the RCP and junction room. Its hard to say for sure. This is not on the map that I was able to find of the drains i(shootthings) has hit.

Neat corrugated drain that runs under King Street and feeds a stream that runs to the Grand River.

The CMP that it starts out as quickly turns into a legbreaking walk thru a RCP. This passes some junctions where it opens up and an access, then into another junction room. Water leaks from a hole in the ceiling. And the RCP continues as it gets smaller. Still a bit to explore if ever I(shootthings) or anyone else feels like perhaps crawling/shimmying thru the RCP.

CMP - Corrugated Metal Pipe.

RCP - Reinforced Concrete Pipe.

WICKED! And its so close to me. Hahahaha. Should be fun. Looks a bit different than what Ive added in the area. I was just in Guelph in a drain that was corrugated like this one thinking that I havent seen that in the tricities. LOL.

I've done a lot of drains around here and I think I have seen it 1-2 other times in the area.
