Hazards of The 1.5 Million Dollar Garbage Fire

ACTIVE NOW!!! REBUILT.

I get around. Bus. Pedal Bike. LRT (UGH!). I dont like the fake rail. It makes some odd noises when your under that bridge it goes over the Schneider Creek.

GF Environmental (Ground Force), a well known garbage disposal company, had a very large fire in what I describe as a transfer station but GFE calls a warehouse, for waste. Waste in this case refers to what my article source refers to as "Recycling and building materials". Couldnt be anything good ill say, as the SHIT by the fence I found at the fence in front of me....Well, I probably put my mask on a bit too late. Not the first time, wont be the last.

Passing this on the LRT one day and It looked charred. Pikaswed420 said she didnt remember emergency sirens, lights ect. Sure enough, it was charred, and I set my sights on yet another fire victim.
Not a bad explore. Like many empty industrial buildings I ran thru, except this was on a active business. They were closed the day I hit it, and the walk on the disused section of rail, might have been as good at the running thru the warehouse. Scenic and overgrown, the piece of rail was. Demolished as this may be, I believe it is being rebuilt as the structure was damaged from heat. It should be getting replaced as the property, IS STILL 100% active.

THIS IS NOW DEMOLISHED. Along with it being demolished, the demolition happened only days after I shot it. Got a message from Pikaswed420, telling me it was half gone one afternoon. I passed on the LRT the next, and BOOM! No mo warehouse. On a sidenote, it took 21 hours to extinguish the refuse/rubbish pile. And from all Pikaswed420 and I can tell, the sale of Lot 42 (judging from the amount of land), seems like it includes the GF Environmental facility.

Shot 10/11/2020.

END OF FEBUARY 2021- Since the demolition, they have started rebuilding a building. Perhaps it will be EXACTLY the same warehouse transfer station thingy.

OCT 2021 - Long ago built, the SAME building appears to have been rebuilt. The foundation may have been reused. I cant remember as it was demolished so soon after I ran thru and shot it. Even tho it was demolished, I will put the status as “Active” as its the same stuff going on now, as before. ACTIVE BUISNESS.
