The Deavy Farm has sat abandoned for a loooong time. There are five or six structures still standing and a few that have collapsed. There is very little left of the house, cant really explore it but can get a good look inside.

If you are going to check it out, there are a couple of hazards to be aware of before going. First, do not attempt to use the driveway, just park on the road and walk up to the house - would need a truck or offroad vehicle to traverse whats left of the driveway. Second, there is long grass grown up everywhere and there is junk hidden under it that could hurt you, wear boots or at least good shoes. Third and most important, last time we were there we saw evidence of coyotes or feral dogs. Dont suggest going at night.

Very worthwhile trip, its easy to get to, lots to see, there is a small barn and a couple of sheds still intact enough to explore. Excellent photo opportunities.

Enjoy!

Making this one public as there is really nothing left that a tagger or copper thief could rather selfishly destroy.

Worth a look, bring boots and head out at dusk.

@jon: On some photos on Internet you can clearly see a MailBox with the name: Deavy Farm written on in.

How did you get all the info on this place and name? Or is it just an invented name for the place?
