Coca-Cola Refreshments Canada moved into this classic building in 1965. There were approximately 400 employees that worked here in the east end. They recently decided to move shop and opted for a more trendy spot in the downtown core. They are now located on King Street on top of the Toronto Sun headquarters.

After driving by last week, I noticed that one of the buildings was being torn down (the bottling plant). I decided to investigate further. I easily got into the bottling plant thanks to the gaping holes every where, but not so with the big office building. I got a few pictures of the outside, along with the super cool Coca-Cola bottles statue out front. Security caught me here. Surprised they didn't catch me sooner in all honesty. He was pretty nice and told me to come back on a week day and maybe they'd let me inside for a closer look.

The security guard and I talked for a while. I learned that Costco will be taking the place of this neat looking building. It appears that it was attempted to designate this property with heritage status, but with the state that it's in now I'm assuming that didn't pass. Shame really!

Office building nothing, the shots you took were of the more interesting half for sure. Wish dealing with security guards was as easy when you're male!
