"uploaded album content" error

Hi guys, I've been trying to upload this one album for a couple weeks now, but most of the photos i try uploading just show up as "uploaded album content", and when i try to publish it, the image names some up rather than the actual images themselves. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Is it an error on the websites end or mine? Thanks

Question about non-typical photos of Level 1's

I was wondering how one should handle posting photos of things tagged as level 1's if you have photos that would potentially no longer meet that criteria (e.g. photos from inside a publically accessible thing that you are not *generally* permitted into)?

Hey, I have a tier 4 location that I went to a bunch of times. I'm afraid that posting it as a level 1 account will compromise the space. What should I do? PSA: the location is an abandoned office with a chemistry lab, incredibly intact, chemical equipment is still there.

Question on getting caught

Hi everyone, I almost have enough confidence to finally urban explore after watching it on youtube for 2 years, but I have one question about if I get caught. Assuming I am caught by police and not a property owner, does the consequence I face fully depend on the officer? I know i can mitigate the potential consequences by not carrying anything that would suggest me doing worse activities like weapons etc. Is it just a gamble essentially if I get a warning or a charge? On a side note, i was thinking to explore the Anaconda Brass in etobicoke, would this be an okay beginner spot?

Good Afternoon Folks, I am applying for level three. As a current level two member, I find most locations I am coming across are levels 3 & 4. I frequently stop when I have the chance doing deliveries and am always sure to mark the spot to return to with my partner later. My favourite part of exploring is really the history of the locations and the beautiful architectural highlights that often get lost in some of these locations. With access to a higher level, I would be able to contribute a larger volume of properties, as I find ypu always learn something from every location. On vacations I always make a list of places to stop a long the way and have been working at uploading everything ive collected over the many years I've done this. Always fun to meet fellow explorers but I dont find its something that doesnt happen too often! I would love the opportunity to be able to explore more of these beautiful locations. Thank you for your consideration 😊

"Living in trailers but life is a movie" in Oakville was my first explore and I've been to 50-55ish places since, From Hamilton to Oshawa, and north to Simcoe County.

Hey OAP Community, I’m writing to respectfully request a promotion to Level 2. I believe I’ve met the current requirements, with over three months of active participation, four documented locations, and 15 albums uploaded featuring a variety of sites and content levels. I also have many more albums in the pipeline, ready to be shared with the community. I first got into urbex back in October. At the time, I struggled to find quality locations, but being part of this community has helped me grow significantly in both knowledge and experience. I usually get my locations through word of mouth and g earth scouting, but now that I moved all of that got harder. Been doing this for 5 years but I guess why not give back to a community :) (plus I've been gatekeeping all my pics for way too long) I put some nice albums up that I hope you appreciate, can't wait to meet and maybe even explore with some of you all.

Re-applying for level 3, I understand I have not met the requirements last time but I think I do now, ill give a quick break down of my contributions: 70 interior locations 4 exterior locations 200 interior albums 4 exterior albums (you can see the levels of my locs on the side panel) I also got a proper camera with which I am still learning new things about how to use it, but overall my photos are a lot better now and over half of my albums are with that camera so no more blurry grainy shots. but yep thats pretty much it, not much else to say, i hope you consider my re-application, and btw if you want to read more about how I explore and how I started, then you can look at my denied application, I wrote a bunch of stuff there.

I think the size limit is 20mb(?) but if it's too large it will tell you and not even upload it, so not sure if it's a filesize issue, but definitely seems like a tech bug like you mentioned

Idk if there is a specific image file the uploader needs that your photos arent, it could be the size of the files (I'm unsure of there is a limit) or perhaps your connection times out after writing descriptions? The best way is to get in contact with an admin in the Discord link below (discord logo is what I mean). Possibly thru the "contact us" heading too but discord would be the easiest way to pinpoint the issue the quickest with admins.

If you post photos of that location, it will either post them to an already existing level 4 entry, or you can make an entry yourself, and select any level. Although you can't see level 4 spots normally, you can if you have added them yourself or posted a gallery to that location.

I mean you need 20 *locations*, when they get "removed and added to a different location" it just gets merged so yes you do need 20 lvl 2 interior locations that you can find

I have 21 albums.. most are level 2 & 3 so I do not understand exactly what you mean if someone could clarify it would be appreciated. The last few times I’ve tried to add locations, they are removed and added to existing higher level locations which then removes it. I need 20 level 2 interior locations that I find?

Not enough contributions, you need at least 20 lvl 2 interior locations, 3 is obviously not enough, and try to upload more consistently

I forgot that I know the quality in my earlier albums was not great. I have begun using a real camera, so the quality will increase once i get to uploading those albums.

the first time i went i did not know, the second time i did and i brought along my trusty resperator. i am surprised how open these buildings are considering how high the levels of contamination were. These are some of the highest asbestos levels ever recorded so be very careful not to stir up too much dust cause who knows whats inside it.

Yeah it's just off to the side from that flooded structure and has a rusty cylindrical tank like thing on the front. Probably once had a large structure on top that this may have powered something for, though the sluice gates were way up at the top of the falls

It was potentially boiler for sure. It seems to be a bit away from the rest of the site, or just off to the side? Once the hazard of boilers was truly learned, they tended to position them a bit away from things to protect equipment and workers from an explosion. I've noticed even in the odd older building, the boiler is like 15 ft below the "basement" level in its own utility room (generally using steam as well).
