An old Boy Scout Camp in the middle of Craigleith on the Shores of Georgian Bay with views of Georgian Peaks and the mountains. By looking at the satellite picture you can see the extent of this once busy camp. A developer has bought the land, razed most of the structures and subsequently gone out of business. The property includes several roads, foundations, filled in swimming pool, totem pole and a still standing no fear of heights structure c/w guy wires suspension bridge and all. The famed Craigleith General store was part of the plot and has remained vacant for 2 years. I used to eat breakfast there several years ago and a frequent visitor was the one and only Kim Mitchell. There are more houses on this property which rates a return visit but once again batteries limited my exploration.

I stayed here with cubs in the mid-80s. Got my first black eye playing British Bulldog in the dark like an idiot. I remember we were fossil collecting trilobites along the shore of the bay and some home owner came out yelling and ended up getting our troop leaders in a bit of property trouble.
