This use to be an Easter Seals Camp for kids with physically disabilities. From what I heard the community use to donate alot of money to the camp and time to help keep it open. However when that just wasn't enough they closed the camp and put it up for sale. A developer purchased the property and was going to tear down all the building and then put in a new sub division or condo's can't remember the sign is still at the road, but the community was upset that after all the time and money they spent on the camp that it was going to be tore down and that they fought to stop the developer. This all happened quite a few years ago so from the looks of it so far they have been successful.

There was a bunch of kids breaking glass and starting fires. Had the neighbor call the cops on the way out.

Awesome! Always wondered whether this place was still here after MHInc posted a gallery of it on another site several years ago. Wanted to find it for updated photos at one time but forgot about it and didn't know the location. But this is where 'local knowledge' comes in handy!
