Recent status Demolished
Location # 6350

Large old red brick farmhouse with no vandalism or graffiti just sweet natural decay. There's clothes hooks on the walls in every single room of the house. I would guess its been abandoned at least 20 yrs. The house is so big there's 2 staircases at either end of the house. There's a few neat old left behinds but no stove or tub. There's some minor holes in the kitchen floor but still very solid and nothing of any danger.
There's also 3 possum skeletons, 2 in the basement and 1 on the top floor.

address is 6498 Line 89, near Palmerston and Listowel

Demolished - Fall 2015

Update: Went by today. NEW no trespassing signs at the driveway. So new that the footprints are still there leading to them. Let's be smart people, and wait to visit this until the snow is gone and some leaves are on the trees. Trail was clocked last time he visited so a time out on this location might be wise so we can all enjoy it at some point.

Definitely thought it was different, the entire room grey. Ceiling, trim, doors..everything. And then in other rooms and the hallway even the ceilings are wallpapered. Don't know what to make of it. Not everyone is normal like us :-P lol. Definitely no signs of a fire though..

The gray room upstairs is most intriguing. These people had an obvious affinity for wallpaper, so why is that room bare? And the gray colour appears to almost uniformly coat the floor, walls and ceiling. My first impression was some kind of soot, but there does not appear to be any signs of a fire. Did you find it strange in person?

Hey that's great ground thank you very much! How did you figure that out? I thought it had something to do with 'the last supper'. There is another poster like it at the other end of the closet but there wasn't much left of it.

Actually, hilariously enough, just found this on Google: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-mAdZ68sr7-w/TszYgGMt_VI/AAAAAAAACC8/cpn5LzIMxdY/s1600/1samuel16_7.jpg Killer coincidence given our passion!

In the end though, here's what it is: True and wrong perception: Man only sees what is in front of his eyes but God sees into the heart.

Stunning place; the poster gave me a hell of a run. It is written in a rather intimidating German typeface known as Fraktur, which generally hasn't been used since before WWII. It is tough because some of the "letters" are actually symbols for letter combinations that make it super tough to translate.

Lol - I'm on a work hiatus right now after accepting a 24 yr severance package, 95% of us left the company. So i'm taking a break. Sometimes i get stuck in the opposite schedule of staying up half the night and sleeping til noon.
