Old Lafarge Mixing Yard

Demolished Commercial in Welland, Ontario, Canada

Recent status Demolished
Location # 6246

Tightly fenced remains of an old cement mixing yard on the border of a quiet residential neighbourhood. Areas along the residential streets have been maintained to prevent trespassing - the same cannot be said for the outlying fence line along the old rail bed and Humberstone transformer station. Some interesting remains can by found throughout the property hidden in the long grass. The cement mixing tower and side-buildings can be accessed with effort, but site lines with nearby houses and adjoining industrial yards make stealth nearly impossible.

Done, thanks Phrenzee. Didn't think I had included enough good pictures to warrant it, but of course, that's a ridiculous reason in retrospect. And actually hearing it coming from you makes me indeed realize that it is sound reasoning.
