There used to be a house here when I was growing up not far down the road. Unsure of the history of the place but I assume the Arbourwood development had it torn down and the foundations filled in. All that is left is a couple of trailers, shacks, an old school bus and plenty of junk. Did not get to all the buildings (probably about a half dozen on the property.) POE's a plenty, pretty out in the open. Unsure if the property is owened or even used. Does not look like its seen any TLC for ages.....come to think of it I don't remember any TLC or maintanence ever done there.

Seems to be fairly frequently used as a local party spot, very easily accessable from the park at the end of red oak cres or just off the Oro rail-trail. Not much of interest beyond the school bus until we hit a very old pile of bottles.

Will update in later in the winter or early spring with more pics and hopefully some background.

I got service Ontario to run the VIN. the bus was first imported into Canada in 1980 and belong to the hi-way church in Barrie before being sold to a member of the church in 1982. the bus is still in that persons name, although they passed away in 2019. their funeral was held at the same church the bus belonged to.

Be careful. You can almost see the bus from the road. Lots of broken bottles and stuff all over the ground right. Its kinda sad.
