Southdale Rd House

Yet another house that is going to be the victim of development. I don't think this place is going to be around a lot longer. There used to be a little church right on the corner, which has been torn down already. A big, shiny BMW dealership is going up to the left of this house and residential construction is going on behind it.

Inside, peeking through windows, it seemed to be in pretty good shape. I used to run by here years ago and thought it was empty then, but Im not sure now for how long, if it was really abandoned back then (?7 years ago). The back door is padlocked, but the basement window has been broken open. I wasn't about to crawl down there, since I would still be stuck inside!! And absent minded me, forgot to try the front door, but Im going to guess it's locked.

Added by Andrewlawton, May 2014: At one time, this was a beautiful house. However, as the neighbourhood around it changed, it became a house surrounded by buildings serving non-residential needs. The church next door was recently demolished, and to the west is a major juncture for furniture depots and car dealerships. It's clear given the house's location that it is a frequent "hangout" spot for non-explorers. The basement is filled with alcohol containers, and a weird assortment of preserves. Throughout the rest of the house, not much remains but garbage and broken glass. Still, for how many people pass by the house each day, it's worth a quick visit.
