Every small town has its urban legends - most just get laughed off half-heartedly. But every once in a while, in between chuckles, the eyes of those who remember the truth will nervously meet and unconscious understanding will pass from one person to another: some secrets must be kept.

Wow. This blew my mind. I spent as many days as I could on this property when I was a teenager in the early 80's -- when this legend is said to have occurred. So of course when I saw this page, and three others including a video, I had to go check it out personally. We went just 4 months after the video was taken. So what we found had been done, had just happened. The paint was fresh. I've just uploaded the pictures I took.
Weeeellll that was disturbing as all hell, I say whoever spends the night there gets a prize! It has to be fully documented and more than one person
Haven't been able to log in for a while - busy. Glad this was still on the list. Great job gs.
@ trailpro...in Middlesex county. Goes by 'vigilante schoolhouse'. If you visit, careful that just inside there is lots of broken glass and cut up wire. Seems on purpose.
I thought you might have. Looking forward to seeing that. @doom....whats the name of that said entry?
I have indeed and thought about them the whole time I was constructing this story. I am in the process of including a neat location in Niagara that ties in (truly this time) with their story.
Ok cool. Ya i showed my pa this entry last night and he got a kick out of it too, made him laugh. Said it reminded him of these people, an actual true story. Said there was a film made about them years ago and Max Haines wrote about them.
@ trailpro...I have put an entry in for the schoolhouse where the vigilantes met the night before taking matters into their own hand with the Donnellys. Check it out. I only found out after I visited the significance of the place!
Niagara is the most haunted area in Canada, its guys like GS that start them lol
hang on a second...someone actually fell for this story?I think I was one or two photos in and realized what it was.
I don't be leave in these ghost stores myself but i still get a kick out of a good one and that was great :o)
This was meant as a fun tale. I had someone email me requesting more information on the legend. To be clear: the entire thing is made up. It started with the real inscription over the door of the silo and just unfolded from there in my "deranged" head ha ha (thanks TGND).
Thanks for all the great comments. I was watching them all unfold at work today through hotmail instead of logging in, and it was great to get so many. Comments are what makes the community here, otherwise we'd just be a database of locations, which would be greatly useful, but would lack "fun".
Ground State - NEVER disappoints! Even when he DOES disappoint I'm not disappointed!
One of the ghosties should bring their EVP recorder or special orb camera...maybe blow some smoke in front of their lens for some instant ectomist.
If she got out of the tower, everyone in Fort Eerie better beware. Check the local papers in the next few weeks for any strange happenings.
OMG! Wth!? This. is. deranged... If I don't sleep tonight it's your fault Ground State!
Me too! There are ALOT of great talented members on here,...but i love you man!! Lol
Your the best ground state!! O M G!! What an entry! This is thee best one i've seen on here yet..hands down!! And then the last picture...Holy Shit!! To everyone who views this you have to read the photo descriptions right thru to the end of the gallery, and don't cheat and skip ahead.

I tried to explore this area on Labour Day. But it looks like there’s some construction work going on. I didn’t get very close.
