The remains of a old Quaker home in Welland. The Quakers first settled here back in 1788 which was known then as Thorold Township. I found these remains using Google Earth the new 1934 view .

Oh yeah i forgot to tell you if you do go back to this place be carefull one of the foundations is covered with what i think is poison ivey .

Yes i went to all three but forget which pic's are which. Yes there was high weeds and very hot when i went . i got more pic's maybe put them in later.

Hey, did you go back out to the trees? It looks like there are 3 sections here: the end of the drive-way, then the wall that shows up prominently, and then a 3rd foundation (looks like a full square) further back. Wondering if the gallery includes pics back in there too. I think I will still use this site for a geocache.

Great stuff! Thanks for letting me see in here. I went here two weeks ago after, like you, viewing the foundation from satellite. Parked on the tower access road. My boys and I were going to place a geocache here but the grass was up to their heads and we had two ticks 30 seconds out of my van. I was bummed about not seeing the foundation!
