This old neglected Cemetery is located on a wooded hill in the village of Lyndhurst. In 1801 Wallis Sutherland Built the first working Iron Smelter in Ontario at what was called at that time Furnace Falls. In 1851 the name was changed to Lyndhurst. In 1807 his son Peleg was killed in an accident at the Smelter and is buried somewhere on this hill top. There are a number of Headstones, some of which are unreadable and one that is transcribed in Welsh.

I agree this should be a historic site, as are the bridge and the stone works. I am posting a couple of pics of the bridge, the historic site signs and a great looking abandoned building beside the bridge.
In my opinion this Cemetery should be declared a Historic Site. It's only a block from the Old Stone Bridge you mentioned and the Park that's dedicated to the founders of Lyndhurst (Furnace Falls). Many of these people and their families are buried in this Old Cemetery.
