Recent status Abandoned
Location # 3547

Port Oshawa Cemetery sits on the hill overlooking Lake Ontario, just a stone(a)s throw from where the first settlers lived. It contains the graves of Oshawa(a)s earliest families, including that of Benjamin Wilson as well as Reverend Henry. There was talk at one time of moving it to put in a new harbour, but this hasn(a)t happened yet. The cemetery is fenced in and kept locked.

Lovely place! Even though I had permission to be there, bystanders and neighbours are very protective of this historic site. its one of Oshawa's Gems. :) Nice gallery btw spydrgyrl

I've known about it forever, but I have never seen the gate unlocked. Would love to get in and get a better look. :(
