Location # 2498

This is a property in a highly visible area, directly south of the Walmart plaza on Aurora Rd (Wellington Street), just west of the 404. The farmhouse itself still stands; the rest of the buildings on the property have now been demolished.

This site sits next to the Aurora White Piller House which has now been razed. That site already has a location entry; Ive added a new gallery of photos to the excellent collection already there.

Found some historical info on this location; it is known as the Isaac Petch Farmhouse and was built in 1882. Link added.

Thanks Timo, appreciate it. This one was really falling down (both the house and the barn) but at least I got there before the bulldozers. And its also ture that Aurora absolutely needs another grocery store (/sarcasm) ;)
