14th Company Garrison

Former headquarters for the Fourteenth Company of the National Army of the Dominican Republic, left abandoned when the military garrison transferred to a larger, more fortified building near the centre of Puerto Plata during the Trujillo dictatorship (1942-1952). This 2-story abandoned building is completely open access and is not fenced. Nearby Fortaleza de San Felipe attracts all the attention, leaving explorers an opportunity to infiltrate this old building at leisure. There is a separate entry stairwell that leads to the upper floors.
