Hazards of Overgrowth

  • Plants: It’s quite overgrown around the area, so ticks are definitely a hazard here. The same would go for the majority of this trail if you decide to go the whole way.

  • Insects: Have bug spray? Doesn’t matter. These little shits will follow you literally everywhere, you can’t stop to have a break for one second. I wouldn’t suggest coming here in June or when these bugs are thriving.

When my friend and I found this place, we decided to have a beer inside. The swarms of bugs won’t follow you inside.

Really cool spot but it was not where the coordinates on this post are. We spent a while exploring the area and were about to give up when we finally found it! The spot is closer to these coordinates (Latitude: 43.870213 / N 34° 52' 12.767" Longitude: -79.680427 / W 79° 40' 49.535") It's along the tree line of an open field, right off of the trail. Happy Exploring!

thanks for the correct coordinates! i did mention in the description that they are not 100% accurate but it was probably tucked too deep within all the text

Any ideas abt what this building might've been in the past? Ruins south of this site were some reptile zoo but I never knew even more places up the trails.

i'm not sure tbh, if i were to take a guess, maybe some kind of old agricultural building?
