You’ve dealt with weak floors, stepping on nails, being stung by wasps, confronted by angry property owners, getting electrocuted in basements with live power and an inch of water and slicing your hands on broken glass. But there’s a new danger to add to the list…

…. sauce!

The kitchen floor of this place is smooth linoleum, and it’s covered in a sluice of tomato sauce from numerous broken jars. I thought a misplaced foot in an icy, flooded basement was bad: it’s nothing compared to the dangers of tomato sauce on linoleum. The main character in Stephen King’s “Misery” almost had it better after the leg-hobbling scene than I did when I left this place. NOTE TO SELF: Stiff, anti-nail safety boot soles do not perform well on crooked, lubed floors.

This is a typical, inner-city abandonment that look suspiciously like a rent-runner situation. There are items everywhere that really are not that old, and the rooms even still carry the smells of habitation.

A super easy beginner explore, especially with the forest across the street and no facing neighbours.
