Old Cars Dumped in The Wildlife Sanctuary

The cars are along a path that goes through the Wildlife sanctuary, which is a habitat for bears, and many other kinds of animals that may pose a threat to you. The plants and trees are all around the cars, so they may be hard to find. It is a public trail for everyone so there is no worry of being a trespasser.

There is no concise story of how these cars ended up deep in these woods, but I have heard that when Trent University bought up all of the lands near the Otonabee River for the university, they had to force a lot of farmers off their land. There was not much of an incentive for the farmers to clean up their properties so they left rotting cars out.
