Long grass so ticks are a problem in the warmer months, however, colder months will be no problem. Neighbors are few and far between and the property is obscured by brush, so you should be fine to even drive your car onto the property.
Information is quite scarce on these locations but I’ll try my best to give my personal summary. Up until July 2014 there were houses on this property as indicated by the google streetview then sometime between the previously mentioned and July 2019 these houses were torn down and all that was left were the sheds of the property. The date these were demolished could be narrowed down between July 2014 and May 2018 as Google Earth Satellite shows there are only sheds left on that date. Sometime in 2020 these locations got tagged a great amount as indicated on one of the tags in one of the buildings. The reason there is a John Deer dumptruck-looking machine I have no explanation. However, I do know that the houses were most likely torn down by Nelson Aggregate Company when they gained possession of these properties as the land which they used to sit on is on a planned expansion of the nearby quarry. However, due to environmental protests and Burlington bureaucracy, they have not been allowed to do this planned expansion. Thus the land stays vacant with abandoned buildings until that inevitable quarry expansion occurs.
Saw this on google earth and decided to give it a look. Nothing much of interest some sheds with miscellaneous invaluable trash inside. The foundations of the old houses and driveways along with one of the old sheds tagged a crazy amount. The only thing of real note at this location is this giant John Deer dumpstertruck-looking machine that has broken down or was discarded and scrapped. Never seen anything like it and have no idea why it’s even here. Shot at night so the quality of the album is not what I would have liked it to be
