Wells St School was opened in the early 20th century. First opened as The Aurora High School, this building had stood for almost 100 years, and has suffered from weather, floods, and fires. The building was closed in 2007 because of damage to it(a)s base, the students were transferred to Aurora Grove Public School. The School will be turned into a historical site for future use. The School is now locked from the inside on all doors and windows, and is contently watched by the police. The school can now only be admired from the outside.

I went to this school up until 1974 when my family moved out west. I wish it was still a school I could take a tour through it

I went to school here back in the VERY early 80's. Can't say I'm too happy about the lofts now. http://wellstlofts.com/

They're officially re modelling them into school house lofts. Look like they're going to be real nice though! Kinda creepy that it's located right beside the free mason church..
