Believe it or not - this house was listed for $6.5 million. It's located in a sought-after neighbourhood in the GTA on a huge double lot. RiddimRyder Photography and I explored this house last winter with Urbex Opie.

The house itself is nothing spectacular. Much of the house has wood panel walls. There is a stone fireplace in the middle. The kitchen is not very big but has ample cupboard space. There are a few bedrooms on the main level and a few more upstairs as well. The most interesting part of the house, to me, was the basement and the antiques left behind there. The house was carpeted throughout. Everything was very dated. There was a bit of decay upstairs, on the main level as well as in the basement. One thing you can't deny with this house is the amazing views of the lake throughout!

I imagine the lot will be severed and the house will be torn down in the future and replaced by newer mansions, so I'm glad I got a chance to capture it. As we explored here, I could picture nautical themed decorations throughout as if were a Captain's Den on a ship!

Urbex Opie?!? Haha... I was racking my brain there for a moment trying to figure out what province this unknown urbexer was visiting from when he/she hooked up with you two.
