Considered to be a forgotten gem, this amphitheatre now sits silent and unused. It was designed by Windsor-local architects Johnson and McWhinnie and built in 1959. It would replace an earlier structure that was destroyed in a fire in 1957. The bandshell was well used, as many city events were hosted on the grounds of the neighboring park, like the Emancipation Day Celebration, Firemen's Field Day, Freedom Festival, battle of the bands, and more. Currently the site is fenced-off and gated, and the area around the bandshell is used by the cities parks and recreation department as storage.
