Pickaxe To Destruction

I’m surprised this place isn’t on here already but then again I’ve passed by it several times without stopping. It was only when canucks747 suggested it to me that I finally went to check it out, so a big shout out to him is in order!

According to canucks this house was constructed in 1982 and sits by a very busy intersection. Inside kids have gone to town with smashing up the walls and throwing items down the stairs. Since the stairs are jammed, you can try to maneuver around the blockage or just use the front door for the main level as I did.

There’s a bunch of TV’s, appliances and furniture left behind. The home has four fireplaces and the front foyer is interesting with its wooden ceiling. A pickaxe is still stuck in one of the bedroom walls. If you can get past all the damage, the home still has some charm.

An application has been submitted to the city to allow for 13-storey and 24-storey residential apartments to be built on site along with some retail space.
