Found this gem driving looking for spots back in mid March. Constructed in 1960, this house has sat like this since August 2013. one of my favorite locations I've explored in my 6 years of being in this hobby. Been caught twice by the man across the street as he is The owner of the property and does the farming on this 96 acre property. Checks often for parked cars on property, and in surrounding areas. Photos were taken in April.

Knifeguy87: While out on the road came across this place late at night and decided to make the walk and see what it was. Seems like someone has smashed the glass of the side door leading to the outdoor pool. This is where I decided to make my entry from, the basement seems to have been the main "party" room. I have done a little research and seems that the house was owned by Lieut. Col. Norman Frederick Wilton who was appointed Honorary Lieutenant Colonel of the Ontario Regiment, Royal Canadian Armoured Corps. He had no wife that I was able to find info about and his kids and grand kids Im assuming decided not to take over the land or aren't from the area to do so. Lieut. Col Norman Wilton passed away Sept 5 2005 at the age of 81 and the home has been vacant since 2013. Google his name and you can find a few things about him. Lets try and keep this place alive like this for years to come!

Unfortunately I checked this location in the 3rd week of April, 2022, and the land has been completely razed. Everything here has been demolished. Changing the status on this one.

The neighbour is always out across the street, so it's best to approach from the side. On my first visit a guy on a tractor drove around the property, but then left. This house is certainly not a true time capsule, but is a very cool discovery by Canucks.
