White house found on a quiet road in the small town of Castleton. On our second visit here, we ran into some neighbours that gave us a brief run down on the history of the house. A man named Gary used to live here and passed away shortly after Christmas in a chair in his living room. His body wasn't found for 3 months. A large piece of the carpet has been cut out in the living room, which we believe was where the body was found. There are lots of retro electronics and furniture left behind. Including view finder photos, lite-brite, countless records, typewriters, vintage record players, etc. Also an obscene amount of empty peanut butter jars and alcohol bottles scattered throughout the house.

I stopped by here today. Its completely gone, except for a fresh area of dirt where the house once stood.
sad to hear that he was there for so long without anyone realizing, same kind of situation happened in an apartment building i live in when i was younger, my grandpa was the superintendent of the building and actually found the man. our building stunk for weeks, awesome find!!!!

Used to pass by here daily on my way to work in Colborne, and I remember seeing the car still in the driveway, and the grass growing higher and higher. I guess it's a good thing I didn't do an impromptu exploration.
