THIS SCHOOL HAS BEEN DEMOLISHED!!! Now that I got that out of the way, I’m creating this for archival purposes. OAP had sent me a tip to check this place out. At the time it was an active demolition site and the front portion had already been removed, but there was still plenty left to explore. Holy Name Catholic Elementary School was constructed in two stages, the front section in 1968 and a two storey addition at the back was added in 1979. The total floor area was 37,641 square feet. Instead of repurposing the school, demolition was chosen and a brand new municipal building will be constructed in its place.
