This house burned down about a month ago in the night. There was a couple living there that rented the place. 2 small children also lived there. It looks like most of there things where ruined by the fire or firefighter spraying water on them. It was a century home and the article in the paper said it was bad wiring that caused the fire.

I drive by this house all the time and haven't seen anyone there since the fire. So i decided to check it out. Looks like the fire started in the kitchen and the one room upstairs is total ruined. There is not a part of this house that was no black with soot. there where lots of stuff and personal items left behind.

Great spot to check out. There are lots of things on the floor and hanging from ceiling so be safe. Happy exsploring

An interesting thing about this house is that after I posted it online the woman that was renting here reached out to me. It turns out that she also explores abandoned places, so she was not upset at all but more intrigued by the photos. She ended up adding me to facebook and we chat from time to time about exploring. She's a PSW as well. The fire engulfed her daughter's bedroom and they were lucky to get her out in time as it had the most severe damage in the whole house (the picture with the upstairs room and holes in the floor). It was her decision to just leave everything behind and start fresh as it was a very traumatic experience and she still is very fearful of it happening again and constantly checks everything. Her and her family are doing great now and seem quite happy.

This location has so much left behind to look at, seems like the family never came to try and recover anything from inside, such a shame

I drove past here last weekend, wondered if it was abandoned and was planning a return visit. Good to hear the story but sad a family was displaced.
