This is the former Loyal Orange Lodge Dufferin, just east of Kingston in the former Pittsburgh Township. What's (marginally) interesting is that someone must have decided there was a problem with the number as it is clear to see that, although it is currently No. 709, it was at one point in time No. 1269. Perhaps a demotion. Both this and the Presbyterian Church next door are evident on the Meacham Atlas from 1878.

Not sure when it closed, but there was a posting from one "Gary" (clearly a volunteer at one of the Kingston area's military museums) on Rootsweb from 2007 where he uses (Loyal Orange Lodge 709 Dufferin) in his signature block.

The building is well secured and the power is disconnected. The building is also deteriorating with the concrete/mortar surrounding the windows leaching away and the exterior stone foundation showing signs of shifting.
