The lighthouse is in the Bruce County Lighthouse tour brochure, but it is at the end of a very long, unpaved, dirt road. As you get closer to the end the trees really close in the road. There are road signs, but they are full of holes.
There are no street lights and it is at the very tip of the cape. Black bears have been known to wander the area.
The final light keeper signed the log book in 1986. Since, then it has been left unmanned. It is located on the Chippewas of Nawash land.

The house and out buildings were demolished in 1975 and are no longer here. The light is unmanned but is maintained. Probably a good spot for a sunrise though and an add soon.
