Oak Heights is a semi-ghost town which is partly in both Trent Hills and Alnwick/Haldimand Townships. It(a)s located just SE of another famed ghost town called Burnley.

Its main downtown section is where the ghost town originally sat in the 1800's on the properties of Finley, Cummings and Porter. These four corners homes are now all gone. The hamlet used to have a cheese factory, 2 churches and a store as well. Other later settlers included the Honey and Mitchell families.

For its Post Office history check link below.

There are now more newer homes further to the east. The hamlet is still marked with signage.

It would be great to get inside that abandoned house and see what treasures have been left behind. :)

Love it. Such a 'Great Rush' to come upon a New Place.
